RESULT: Rodney Morris 5-8 Thomas Engert, Oliver Ortmann 8-6 Thorsten Hohmann, Dennis Orcollo 8-3 John Morra

QUOTES: Dennis Orcollo (Philippines): "I played really well and I did everything. I won the first four games and I felt comfortable every time as I always had a shot. I had a lot of chances to clinch the game so I did.

"It was the same type of performance as in the other matches - I didn't change my game so the momentum was always there.

"I was always thinking positively and my mind was focused.

"The competition is really great and the World Pool Masters is a wonderful event with so many top players so it's been very hard to go into the semi-finals."

10.55pm: Orcollo nails another break and run in the 10th to put himself on the hill and there was more of the same in what was the final rack as Orcollo sealed a fine win to book himself a semi-final spot.

10.42pm: A ball down on the break but no shot on the 1, allows Morra to play a good safety. Orcollo kicks out and leaves a tough 1 ball for Morra. They both have visits before Morra fails to connect following a 2 rail escape and it's 6-3 Orcollo.

10.36pm: Morra got back to the table early in the eighth and completed a decent run out to reduce arrears to 3-5.

10.32pm: A miss on the 2 ball into the middle pocket by Morra proved to be costly as Orcollo pounced on his mistake to take the score to 5-2.

10.25pm: A great break and run from young Morra gives him some much needed momentum as he takes the score to 2-4.

10.20pm: Hooray! Morra pockets the 1 ball following a miss by Orcollo. All the balls are lined up on the right hand rail but Morra play an excellent bank on the 5 ball and nails Orcollo in a snooker behind the 7 ball. Orcollo jumps out but leaves a pot on the 7 ball and Morra clears the final three balls to go to 1-3.

10.13pm: Another one from Dennis the Menace takes it to 4-0. Morra has yet to pocket a ball.

10.07pm: There was more of the same in the next as Orcollo made light work of the rack as he ran out for 3-0.

10.01pm: Morra got a visit in the next but only to escape from a safety and Orcollo ran out to move into a 2-0 lead.

9.52pm: Orcollo won the lage and looked good for the run out but missed a tricky 7 ball but the balls ran safe. Morra escaped with a two rail kick but left the 7 on for Orcollo, who dispatched the remaining three balls to take the rack. 1-0.

QUOTES: Oliver Ortmann (Germany): "I didn't do anything wrong but I was down 2-1 and then 4-1.

"But I just tried to concentrate on my own game and I was playing ok so that was the point of the match. I took my chances and was happy to do so.

"At the end of the day the victory was right as I was playing good and he was a bit unlucky.

"I'm focused and feeling pretty confident. I'm just trying to do what i can and I feel really confident at the moment.

"I've played well against Darren Appleton, well against Bustamante and well here and I definitely have a chance to win the tournament.

"Thomas Engert played great against Rodney Morris so it's going to be a tough match but I think I will have my chances."

9.37pm: A crunching break from Ortmann leaves him a great opportunity to take the match and he completes the run out to give himself a superb victory and a quarter-final match up against countryman Thomas Engert.

9.28pm: Ortmann options a push-out in the next but his opponent puts him back in and a safety battle ensues. Ortmann bounces the cue ball along the top rail escaping but Hohmann pockets a superb 1 ball to give himself every chance. He misses the red 3 with a hint of a twitch and Ortmann, looking determined, wraps up the rack to take the lead for the first time in the match at 7-6.

9.20pm: Ortmann though, shows grit as he takes the next to bring the score back to 5-6 and leaves a shaken Hohmann in his chair as he looks composed to run through the 12th. 6-6.

9.15pm: Hohmann though got back to the table in the next rack and ran out after a safety exchange to get to 4-6.

9.08pm: Two balls down on the break for Ortmann but a testing run out, but, looking confident, he clears the table to get to within one of his opponent. 4-5 Hohmann.

9.05pm: Ortmann runs out the next to give himself a chance as the score moves to 3-5 in favour of Hohmann.

8.45pm: A dry break from Hohmann allows Ortmann to tie up his opponent in a super tight safety. Hohmann banks out off of two rails and fortuitously makes the 1 ball with a kick by the brown 7. Fortune favours the brave as Thorsten takes full advantage to run out for 3-1.

8.30pm: The next match is the final last 16 encounter and an all-German affair between former World Champions Oliver Ortmann and Thorsten Hohmann. Both players share the opening racks before Hohmann executes a tidy run out with a congested pack to go into the lead at 2-1.

QUOTES: Thomas Engert (Germany): "That was the first time I've played well in this tournament. I broke well and the balls were on my side.

"Sometimes it wasn't easy to run out - it's never easy to run out against Rodney - but I took my chances. It was a good match for both of us.

"Last year I played maybe seven or eight tournaments last year and that's not enough. But now I'm playing on the Euro Tour and here and getting some momentum.

"Every time I play I feel better at the table and fell much better than at the first match.

"I'm not thinking about winning it yet. Every one wants to win and in pool you have to wait for your chances."

8.12pm: It is a tough rack to finish off but Engert does so. The fist is clenched from Engert as he completes an 8-5 victory. It means there will be at least one German in the semi-finals as Engert plays the winner of Oliver Ortmann and Thorsten Hohmann in the next round.

8.08pm: A thin cut for Morris on the 1-ball stays out. That may be his last shot of the tournament.

8.07pm: Morris has been hugely unlucky and he even has no shot on when Engert comes up with a dry break.

8.06pm: Engert is now on the hill.

8.05pm: Engert leaves a safety trap and Morris's kick shot is off target. It misses the target 3-ball and goes straight into the pocket. With ball-in-hand, Engert does the rest.

8.04pm: Morris pots the 1-ball but overhits it to make a 2-9 combination harder than it could've been. He misses it and Engert banks the 2-ball.

8.03pm: A good break means we could be soon tied at 6-6.

8.01pm: The Rocket has always been one of the most popular players in the world and he gets a warm round of applause when he breaks and runs through the 11th rack.

7.58pm: Morris holds his nerve to win the rack. The pair, both veterans of the Mosconi Cup, are producing a quality match.

7.56pm: Engert pots the 2-ball but a failed 3-8 combination brings The Rocket back to the table.

7.55pm: But the luck may be turning in Morris's favour as a double-kiss leaves a long pot on the 2-ball. But Morris can't capitalise as he misses the pot.

7.54pm: Engert misses a pot at the 2-ball in the tenth but leaves it safe.

7.51pm: Engert rounds off the rack. He has the break and now leads 6-3.

7.49pm: Mistake from Morris. He leaves the 1-ball hanging in the jaws of the pocket. The fightback has ended.

7.48pm: The match is getting interesting as Morris breaks and runs out the eighth but has pulled to within two racks. 5-3 to Engert

7.46pm: It's just what the doctor ordered as Morris wins his second rack of the match.

7.42pm: Morris has a chance in the seventh. Engert resorts to the jump cue on an attempt at the blue 2. But it stays out and is left on for Morris. This could be a turning point in the match.

7.36pm: The luck is going against Rodney in this match. He leaves Engert in a tough position and the German has to swerve around to hit the one. It looks like he will leave it on but the 1-ball crashes into the orange 5 and falls into the pocket. That good fortune helps Engert move further ahead at 5-1.

7.32pm: Engert wins the next as well. He is now 4-1 up and half way to the winning total of 8.

7.28pm: Engert is left in a tight safety and has to play off 3-rails to hit the 2-ball but can only leave it on. But Morris can't take advantage and hands possession back to Engert, who extends his lead to 3-1.

7.25pm: The deficit is halved as Morris gets back in the match. The winner of this match will play the winner of Oliver Ortmann v Thorsten Hohmann, who play later on tonight.

7.23pm: Morris is stuck in his seat as Engert breaks and runs for a 2-0 lead.

7.21pm: Morris looks on the verge of winning the opening rack but gets a cruel piece of bad luck. A poor contact when potting the 6-ball means he loses position. He plays down the table off the rail but then hits the wrong side of the brown 7 and scratches. Engert wins the opener 1-0.

7.19pm: Rodney Morris to play Thomas Engert in the opening encounter of the latest session.

7.15pm: Good evening and welcome to live coverage of the evening session on day four.
