The 2010 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters will feature the biggest field in the competition's 17-year history.

Previously only a 16-man invitational event, the competition, which will be staged at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from May 12 to May 17, will now feature 64 players - male and female.

A total of 38 players have been invited by Matchroom Sport (but Marlon Manalo had to withdraw due to sickness) with 22 qualifiers winning their spots through qualifying events. Two qualifiers - Muhammad Zulfikri and Luong Chi Dung - had to withdraw due to visa issues so the seven remaining spots were awarded from two qualifying tournaments in Las Vegas the day before the Masters.

The tournament has three days of double-elimination action before the final 16 players compete in a single-elimination basis.
