WORLD POOL MASTERS – STATEMENT

Due to the current health and travel situation in China, Wu Jiaqing and Chen Siming have been forced to withdraw from the forthcoming World Pool Masters.

Chen had qualified to make her World Pool Masters debut as the reigning WPA Women’s No. 1, while last year’s US Open runner-up Wu was among the players invited to participate at the 24-player event.

As WPA Women’s No.2, the current Women’s World 9-Ball Champion Kelly Fisher will replace Chen. Austria’s Jasmin Ouschan will take Wu’s place in the tournament.

The thoughts of everybody at Matchroom Pool are with all of our friends across China and in particular those affected by the coronavirus.

The 2020 World Pool Masters will take place at Europa Point Sports Complex, Gibraltar this March 26-29. For more information please visit www.worldpoolmasters.com.
